This isn't the first time I've written a "it's been a while" blog post and it's not going to be the last.

I always start with good intentions, but prioritising a blog post is hard to justify when there are so many tasks on my list.

I'm still hopeful about getting into the habit of writing, so I'm easing back into it by sharing what I've been up to in 2021 and what my plans are for 2022.

Like many indie hackers, I suffer from "shiny object syndrome." Instead of abstaining, I decided to give myself 2021 to go wild and build as many projects as I wanted. The idea was to get the "itch" out of my system so I could focus on iterating and growing my existing products in 2022.

That's still the plan and I'm happy with how it's going. I launched two products that are showing promise and am at the pre-launch stage with a couple more that I'm excited about. In total, I'll be spending 2022 on Page Flows, as well as those 4 products. No more new products and no more new domains. That's the aim anyway.

It's been a while since I've tried marketing a product with intention so I'm excited to get back into it and learn more about what's working these days.

Having five products to iterate on and grow seems a bit intense and isn't optimal, but I'm not in a massive rush and a moderate amount of progress and growth across the projects is more than fine. As long as things are generally headed in the right direction.
